  1. I wonder is this makes Buchholz or Bowden more likely to be traded fro a Catcher? I think they want to keep Buchholz for the rotation. Bowden might be there bets trade chip there willing to part with IMO.
  2. Solid move. Hopefully he can play as much as needed. if not, then Mark Kotsay still needs a job. And I doubt he's going to find a better gig anywhere else
  3. I like the move. Adds depth. If both pitch well, they can always trade one at the deadline to some pitching desperate club.
  4. Dotty Henson Rules! Kit sucks!
  5. Seems reasonable. Nice post Crunch.
  6. I don't see him breaking camp with the team. Maybe as a long reliever.
  7. Really depends on the market. If it's like this season, it might only take 10M a year. I think TB picks up his option year though. And they will trade him if they can't reach a deal for the long term.
  8. I'd bring back Kotsay as a 5th OF backup 1B only if they signed Baldelli. The need someone capable of hitting RH of the bench. Swisher can give you all that and only take up one roster spot.
  9. He be good for the 4th OF, backup 1B role.
  10. Just throwing this out there. But before he was traded to the Yankees, Swisher seemed like an ideal fit for the Sox. Now that he might be available again, should the Sox try to find a 3rd team and bring him in?
  11. Could you consider Mussina's 08 a flukish type year, Considering his 07 season? Or is this more of one good year for the yanks, never heard from again type deal?
  12. Yankee Fan(Yankeedoduhlus glotus-maximus), - a rare breed indeed. Although having all the same traits as their cousin " Normal Fan", the Yankee fan has been known to self gratify it's self at an alarming rate. Infact the only time it is known to be at a quiet hibernative stage, is in the beginning of October. Which happens to be about the time, all that self gratifying blows up in there face. Yankee fans can be seen grazing in fields of hope in mid to late November. It is still unknown where the Yankee fan goes when it hibernates. The Yankee fan cycle may not be like clock work, but a sun dial at the very least. It is usually fairly easy to tell what time of year it is by it's actions alone.
  13. The force is strong with me....
  14. I am really seeing eye to eye on this one with you Ex.
  15. Because that wouldn't allow the Yankees to make an offer.
  16. LOL @ JJ being the 5th SP on the Yankees, after spending $400M:lol:
  17. Exactly what did the top COF dog get this off season? Ibanez? 3/10 Bradley? 3/10(led the AL in OBP and OPS) You over value the market. The Yankees might give him 18M a season, but they will be bidding against themselves if they do so. No one else is goign to pay that much. The way the market is and might head to, he might be better of signing an extension.
  18. You didn't see him at the press conference? He was poking out of Teixeira's zipper.
  19. Dojji is like adam on heavy doses of riddilin. I mean that in the funniest way possible:lol:
  20. :what: Where you massaging your prostate while watching Mark in his pinstripes? Seriously, we know Teixeira is a Yankee. The horse died like 3 threads ago.
