  1. Obviously everyone's answer will be going to the game at Fenway, but I'll change it up and say being at Buffalo Wild Wings eating a FANTASTIC burger and fries and watching the game on their big screen television. Usually there will be one or two other Sox fans there, so that adds to the excitement -- especially when the Sox are just pounding the Yankees at Yankee Stadium.
  2. You seriously have to blame base running for the loss yesterday, though. Mainly, Trot Nixon! Nixon, stop proving white men can't jump and get out of the way of the ball & for crying out loud PLAY THE BALL OFF THE WALL! Adam Stern, buddy, learn to run the bases. This is basic t-ball stuff that our guys aren't doing and it's costing us games.
  3. Yes, they can call him back up, but he's contributing right now more than Hyzdu for instance, so I don't think it will be Gonzalez sent down. Either way, I'm really looking forward to tuning in tonight to see Delcarmen.
  4. Nice having you on the good side.
  5. The big thing is that this is the third time in four years that Manny has supposedly asked out.
  6. Don't forget Wally.... he's been with the Sox since '97, he deserves some playing time. http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/bos/photo/ph_team_mascot.jpg
  7. Yeah, BigPapiEnFuego, but I just have a really good feeling about tomorrow. We need a win and I think we get it.
  8. It's all about the $$$
  9. A 65% chance that the Red Sox will make the playoffs. Wow, pretty good considering that a majority of our games have been on the road.
  10. Eh, we'll be back tomorrow. I have a good feeling we get a win considering Clement will take the mound and I really think our offense will show up since Mark "I gave up 6 runs without even recording an out at Fenway last week" Hendrickson.
  11. No, jackass, can you not read what he's saying? Who cares what you've done in the past? We're World Champions NOW and that would be all that matters.
  12. I won't rip you, Soxfan#1, but this isn't a great idea. Creative, but probably won't work. I was masterbating and thinking about talksox the other day, and I thought of some type of idea in a way similiar to this but like when you thought of this, I'm sure just like me, your mind wasn't fully grasping that this isn't a fantastic idea.
  13. False rumor. I've heard nothing from WEEI, Gammons, any other reliable source or even any other message board. This won't happen.

  15. Yeah, everythings fine. You're going to Ireland tomorrow, so I guess in a way we have to leave on a good foot (or whatever you choose to call it). I definitely will miss some of these posts directed towards me these next couple weeks.
  16. You know, it's really nice not worrying if someone in your lineup will strike out now. Can Bellhorn stay on the DL for the rest of the year now? Because if Terry takes Bellhorn and his (insert batting average here) plus 1215402431619 K's over Tony G's .300 BA and twenty-three (I believe) strikeouts I might go crazy.
  17. Thank you for the correction, ARod2212. Too bad I haven't seen that picture before, I could have used it in response after 220 of your 221 posts on here.
  18. I know we had a big series out on the southside of Chicago this weekend, but down I-95 to St. Louis there was a FANTASTIC series going on. I don't know how many of you took the time to watch it, but yesterday's game was on FOX and tonight's was on ESPN, so hopefully you got the chance. If you didn't catch it, though, or you just want to look back on it, I wrote a fairly big day-by-day recap about the 'Yankees v. Red Sox' of the midwest: http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=drew_2k7
  19. Please explain to me how RIGHT NOW, that can be true. Example A. Crosby goes out and misplays a ball allowing an inside the park HR. Example B. The next night, Bernie starts and makes an outstanding play along the warning track saving a couple runs.
  20. I swear to god, Rivera gets luck going his way a majority of times out. I mean, that DP ball hit right back to him and I still believe the runner at first was safe. I just still can't believe that 8th inning for the Angels.
  21. Welcome to the site. You guys have a very good team this year, you're just missing that key ingredient of pitching. I think I'll feel a little bad for Baltimore if they fall out during the second half, but everyone has a series where they play horrible -- being swept by Tampa Bay just happened to be your series.
  22. Don't worry, JeterWifey... I've just been messing with you. I know why you post here and at times it's pretty nice having you here instead of over there, because we know you are really a fan of the game. 'Night everyone.
  23. Geez, I think I just rained on their parade when they said that Moose is startig tomorrow: Topic: Good News, I swear this is not Geico Related Post: Mussina is pitching tomarrow and hopefully will show these guys what a starting pitcher looks like, he can hold leads atleast Me: You left out the fact of who he's facing. On the hill for the Halo's will be Jarrod Washburn who despite only being 6-5, has an ERA .68 less than Moose (3.27) and has given up an average of 1.7 runs per outing since the beginning of June. Last time out against New York, Washburn went 7 IP giving up only 1 ER. Hate to ruin the parade. http://boards.yesnetwork.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=53328&st=0entry928694
  24. Did you know you can't say 'moron' over there? Pretty weird.
  25. Some guy is saying that Joe Torre said on the postgame show that Brown looked "comfortable out there." Wow, are you serious? http://boards.yesnetwork.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=53320
