  1. Why? Mueller is 34, Youkilis is 26. I doubt we'll resign Bill Mueller anyway.
  2. Lowell is a great teammate, and he is a dead pull hitter, and I think he'll love to take aim at the Monster. He made 7 errors last year, and would actually be an upgrade at 3rd defensively. Kevin Youkilis would move to 1st base. Also Burnett, and Romero would be a major upgrade in the postseason. Imagine that rotation in the postseason of Schilling, Wells (one of the best big game pitchers) Burnett, and Clement, that's pretty damn good.
  3. .. not that I ever did, just saying that if we might wanted to. I love that episode.
  4. Twice
  5. He'll finish the 2nd have 11-0, he's that good.
  6. I don't see how they would, it's not like an assistant pitching coach can make a huge difference.
  7. Yes Millar is playing 1st today. I assume the lineup will look like this: 1. Damon CF 2. Renteria SS 3. Ortiz DH 4. Ramriez LF 5. Millar 1B 6. Mirabelli C 7. Graffanino 2B 8. Mueller 3B 9. Hyzdu RF
  8. Mirabelli hits over .500 against Hendrickson.
  9. Youkillis is probably headed back down to Pawtucket.
  10. Tito is on WEEI right now, so I'll listen for updates.
  11. I think Trot is hurt, because he hasn't been running the bases well, and they pulled him in the 9th for defensive purposes.
  12. He isn't a sensation, he doesn't strike out enough batters. If you only strike out 29 batters in 78 innings, that's a lot of balls put into play for the porous Yankee defense to field.
  13. Graffanino will start at 2nd and bat 7th, Hyzdu will bat 9th, and Mirabelli 8th in today's game vs the Devil Rays.
  14. Cora had no errors last night, he made 2 plays the Bellhorn wouldn't have gotten to. Cora has more range then Bellhorn, he's a better defensive 2nd basemen, ask any baseball expert and they will tell you that.
  15. I think the Sox gave Ambres to the Royals because the have 0 use for him. They might have kept him, had they not signed Kapler. Regardless, unless the entire Sox outfield was abducted you'd never see Ambres in Fenway.
  16. Unless the Yankees trade for him, I doubt Theo would allow Embree to just leave as a free agent, he'll get a PTBNL for him.
  17. I think we stated, or me at least that Graffanino will solidfiy the bench, and will be an upgrade over Bellhorn, and Cora.
  18. Um? We stated we have a 2nd basemen who doesn't strike out, that doesn't make him an All Star. Your the biased Yankee fan, who thinks Chip Ambres is a potential all star. I doubt you were saying that when he was in Pawtucket.
  19. Really? He's a career .253 hitter in the minors, what makes you believe he does?
  20. No one has said we have acquired an allstar 2B, so please SHUT THE f*** UP.
  21. Probably the "Pedro" comparison he got on soxprospects, and the fact that he could throw hard. I saw him pitch once down in Sarasota, he threw hard, but couldn't locate anything.
  22. Yeah it did, but you got to give someone credit when their right. They said the A's would compete, I didn't. They might have a shot at the West if their pitching can hold together.
  23. Hey, welcome back, and how about them A's, nice to see them back from the dead.
  24. Forget about that, he's on the verge of being traded to the Orioles.
  25. Because he did it before.
