Alvarez is not a great prospect, he's a four or five starter on a competive franchise.
Hanley will be an exceptional player, he will be way better then Robinson Cano. He hits for better power, and fields better.
Dinardo is not a prospect anymore, he is a post-prospect, and will only be an average to above average lefty reliever.
The only Red Sox prospects that are not going to be traded are Jon Lester, Jon Papelbon, Hanley Ramriez, Dustin Pedoria, and Anibal Sanchez. Those are our elite prospects, by far. Kelly Shoppach and Moss are in the next category, and then their is a major dropoff.
Now I know a Yankee fan will see that and say their system is better, but the Red Sox have a 4 or 5 more prospects that will be pretty good from this year's draft. But they aren't proven yet, but some can be very good.
