  1. The Sox won't tank next year we have enough money to get players. Rememeber the Sox have $125 payroll. Trading Damon and Kim will open up roughly 29 million dollars of salary so we could resign Beltran
  2. What do you guys think he's going to do this year?
  3. We wouldn't need to sign Beltran long term, just till the end of the year. That sumbitch would want a s*** load of money, proably 15-18 mil per. Anyone know how much Damon makes? I think he makes more than Beltran right now. I guess getting rid of Damon plus Kim would save some dough for Beltran.
  4. The Red Sox say he's got a chance to be Tejada like, except faster. They say he might be one of the fastest SOB's ever
  5. I'm hearing a lot about this kid, I read an article about him in ESPN the mag. Anyone heard anyone about him? Why do the Red Sox like this kid? Where is he playing right now?
  6. That Yankee team would be so old, I don't think they could compete. Murphy needs to start hitting some homeruns 0 so far.
  7. According to foxsports.com, the chances of Derek Lowe being resigned are slim to nil. The Sox say his best days are behind him.
  8. Bellhorn is has a high OBP, and his average is up. CRESPO?!! He hasnt drawn a walk or had an RBI
  9. David Murphy could be added to that, and maybe the draft pick this year
  10. A trade for Zito, would likely demand: Kevin Youkillis, Andy Domique, and some pitcher we know nothing of. Would you guys rather have Zito, or save the money to resign Pedro and other FA"S
  11. Rivers coached the worst team in basketball and made them competive. He is an ideal Boston Celtics coach. Like the Magic in 2000, the Celtics are facing the same dilema. The Celtics have a bunch of nobodies, Rivers has a way with these players to make them compitive
  12. It is catchy though aint it?
  13. Where do I go to find the latest rumors?
  14. Not that big of a deal, it adds revenue to the sport. So thats an upside, but its not on the bases anymore.
  15. That song may not be the s***, but the casino is.
  16. nope, but who do the yankees have to give up to trade for good players?
  17. Pedro can leave, the sox can easily replace him, with two good pitchers from all the cap we free up.
  18. Probably someone like Matt Murton, and a double A prospect. Not that much though, the spos are owned by MLB.
  19. 2 of the three will be resigned, because of the selflessness of (I never though I'd say this) Manny Ramriez. According to foxsports.com Manny has offered to defer five million dollars of his annual contract, to resign Pedro. Manny even went as far to defer another five million to resign Nomar. Mueller, Oritz, and Millar are also in the last year of their contracts. At least I think? Mueller can be replaced by Youkillis, but I would resign Ortiz then let Millar go. The Sox should sign a good cheap FA who can play a lot of positions. Craig Wilson of the Pirates is someone I'd love to play for the Sox. None of our top prospects will be ready until at least 2006.
  20. Manny should be captain, he has really shown some major change these last months. He now is willing to defer five million dollars of his salary a year, to resign Pedro.
