But why was Miller who has messed up a couple recent games in for the 9th ?   WHITLOCK might have been a better choice.

But the real story remains the bats and the number of Ks, especially strike  3 takes

My guess is that the RS have a plan for every pitch count from now until the playoffs.  What day they are pitching to stay warm but relaxed.
