He really is gone, or you are projecting that he should be ?

Projecting.

Hawk Harrelson used to say "he gone" during ChiSox broadcasts.

Wong to DH.  Yoshida to LF.  Duran to WOO.

Problem solved…

No, that would just make too many of us happy!

Oh.  Yeah I see the issue.

Ok how about Yoshida to LF and Duran to  DH so he can focus on that part of his game…

Only if they put him under anesthesia for "another tattoo" but just shave his head instead.

If you nick his head, it pops…

Come on guys.  Like I’ve said before, give the guy a break.  We talk this way and we MIGHT (don’t hang me, I said might) end up like the moronic fans that yell out to him to kill himself after he strikes out.  Let’s not go anywhere near that and focus on this albeit small (for now) losing streak, and whether or not the Adley trade was an overpay.

I think wishing Duran get benched or demoted is a far, far cry from wanting him to using extreme and permanent methods to solve his issues.

The same goes for highlighting his questionable intellect.

Thanks to baseball, Jarren Duran has more commas in his bank account than most of us will ever know.  He could have a very fine life post-baseball.  But today, he is not helping this team and could/should be replaced.  Except that he won’t be…

Rogers was only a temporary fix. He gone.

Agree.  He had an excellent 3 games, but Wong is the guy who knows the staff.

Vehemently disagree.  If there is one thing we can be sure of it's that neither Breslow nor Tracy keeps and plays guys for no good reason.  Of the top 13 position player WAR's of 2023, Bloom's last season, only 4 are still with the Sox.  I do agree his OPS of .613 is dismal, but, as I've said too many times, he also has a bunch of pluses--rbi's, dingers, total bases, stolen bases, and an OPS of .823 with RISP.  He's tied for the MLB lead in assists--7-- from left field and has 1 error.

Its also solved with Rutschman at DH..

Only 6 Sox players have a higher OPS than Wong and more PAs.

His OPS is 86 points above Duran.

Nuff said.

Gotta agree.  It's like feeling sorry for CEOs and CFOs.    When you get paid millions, you have to put up with a lot of downside risk.

Rogers had to go, no doubt in my mind.  And I don't think anyone picks him up this late in the season.  He's a fine insurance policy for us.

If he clears waivers, he can be re-signed…

I think someone claims him.

There is a bad shortage of capable catchers in MLB.

I like him and might have kept him, but you gotta do what you think is best.
