The PxP announcer is a Portland Sea Dogs broadcaster.  Personally, I don’t know that I’d want a steady diet of the concept, but it was fine as a break from O’Brien.  Dave’s good at basketball and football, where it’s more continuous PxP (BB) or reviewing the previous play (FB) and there’s not as much dead air to fill as in baseball.

The SeaDogs broadcast is pretty good. If they ever did a broadcast that was Emma and Lou, it would be enjoyable. I didn't watch the broadcast last night, but a lot of the complaints I heard were more towards Alanna Rizzo who isn't a broadcaster. She does Unobsrtucted Views and that has a much different vibe to it. That may be why some of the presentation could have been clunky TBH.

Emma is the leading  of announcer for the Sea Dogs for some time now. I thought it was a good break from the Yuckers OB, and Merloni as it was last week when Monaco filled in for OB. Also Middlebrooks over Merloni any day.

He wasn't complaining about the broadcast team. But about the idiots.

Take a look at the Philly SP splits.  When Wheeler, Sanchez, and Luzardo pitch, they're as good as anyone in BB.  If anyone else starts, they almost never win.

IMHO, this was the Sandoval we expected.  It just took longer than expected.  The surgery should've knocked him out for 14 months + some rust, and that was just an internal brace.  He was out over 2 years.  If he had come back in April, he'd be a legitimate QO candidate (and might still be if he can continue).
