Thevfunny thing about Fred trying to use thr cherry/picked end of 2025 sample size to show Ceddanne is not steadily improving  is that he ended the season bating .927 over the final 12 games.

If it was someone else, I'd suggest that you explain that young players improve as they gain experience.  But such explanations only matter if the recipient of the explanation cares about it.

Could be wrong but his AAV is less than Duran's 2026 ARB/negotiated contract.

Yes it is a deal , and maybe the Red Sox should give him a bump next year unless he already has a few incentive bonuses

Sox have a good chance of heading back home with a 5-2 trip. I believe most of us would call that damn good.

However, I would also accept 6-1.

The Sox worst would be 4-3, which a few here said they'd be happy with before the trip started.

Cherry picking. He has not “steadily improved “. He sucked at the end of last year and suddenly found his stride when this season started. I proved this but because it doesn’t fit your faulty narrative you ignored it.

Regardless-he has certainly become a contributor this year, a fact I’m not shy to point out since I provide this forum with a fair and balanced analysis of a player’s performance.

He never sucked. He has always been a gold glove CFer, who can play SS and 2B. He was a young hitter who had to learn the strike zone. If you had been the GM you would have traded him ten times. Glad he is still here.
