Tolle not fooling many tonight.

He’s approaching his career maximum in IP. Probably getting a bit tired.

Yup, that's gonna be a problem down the road, especially when no one knows when or if Crochet's coming back

Ozzie Smith finished his Hall of Fame major league career with an adjusted on-base plus slugging index (OPS+) of 87. [1]

Career OPS+ of 87. What a bum. Can't win World Series with guys like that.

That means he sucked offensively. Agreed?

You know what folks? I believe that last year Rafaela was not a contributor offensively-and I have the stats and the sniff test to back up my opinion. I’m done discussing what happened with him last season, preferring to enjoy his performance this year rather than endlessly rehashing a debate with no conclusion.

Time to move on

He had a below average OPS+ last year and no concept of the strike zone. You don’t win rings with players like that.

Phil Rizzuto posted a career OPS+ of 93 over his 13-year Major League Baseball career with the New York Yankees. [1, 2, 3]

Yankees won 7 World Series with this guy at SS. I could find hundreds of examples of guys with OPS+ less than Cedanne's that have started for World Series winning teams.

That darn Cedanne only has warning track power. Trade him.

But, I'm done talking about Cedanne. We all know that he is having an all star caliber season after being a very good, improving player the last two years.

But

Yup. He’s clearly having an excellent year.

Definitely missing Contreras' bat in the lineup. Hard guy to replace. Especially, against a very good team.

Hope he doesn't get Roman Anthony disease.
