Given that no pitcher coming back from an injury is a sure-thing, it would pretty nice to see a strong game from Sandy.  If he could take every start between now and the end of the season, I'd feel a lot more comfortable about our rotation, now and hopefully the post-season.

Does anyone else agree that they’d like to see sogard get a longer look at 2B? Sogard just has the look and sound of a ball player and I swear everytime he’s up he produces. I feel like he is definitely a top 30 2B in baseball at minimum. I think he’s better than (10) 2B starting on a major league roster this season. Obviously they see something internally to not give him a bigger shot but from the outside looking in he’s got the makeup to be an everyday contributor.

Sogard best be careful.  Playing 2b for the Sox this year has proven to be the most dangerous job since keyboardist for the Grateful Dead.

More like Virginia to Dallas then to Sacramento (Sogard missed the connecting flight yesterday).  He doesn't even have a "B" on his batting helmet (he had to bring his own?).
