Contusion to wrist

I’m not sure they have an XRay machine at that stadium. It’s pretty basic

Assuming no bone chip or stress fracture, this injury will mess up his swing. Honestly,  he may need a couple weeks for soreness to go away , allowing his good swing

Duran continues to hit the ball hard.

How can oppo teams position against him so well ?

I will be watching Chapman to see if walks or gives hit to leadoff batter.

Shut this down and get the win on a night with only 1 hit that mattered

Also Kurtz will have pushed Chapman well over 20 pitches trying to end this one again

Hopefully Sox have a big lead tomorrow…

The Sox middle infield through the 15 game streak and now after makes you wonder why it is the key to a great defense.

It has been a AAAA'er effort for a month

That was a GIDP ball that Seighler blew.  Tonight Chapman was terrific.

Interesting that the Sox traded a guy just getting off the IL for a guy who may be going on the IL

When it comes to injuries, this Sox team makes MASH look like Dr Marcus Welby.

This is why I can't see Breslow trading the farm for a bad shortstop like Neto or Abrams. Brez and Bailey know good middle infield D is the key for a club built around pitching.

I'm still surprised they demoted Cheng -- he does one thing better than anyone else on the roster, and that's play stellar shortstop... saw a stat yesterday the Sox were like 15-1 in games he started.

IKF or Mayer must be closer to returning than we think, because they can't be counting on Story's D down the stretch.

They needed to choose between Romy and Monasterio. If Romy isn't hitting, he needs to get a reset in AAA. Cheng works better for the roster for now.
