Sox don't hit RHP well. Royals don't hit LHP well. 

Wacha has won all 4 of his starts vs AL Central teams. This does not bode well for the AL Central Boston Red Sox.

It's an interesting turn of events, given that much of the off-season discussion was that we were way too lefty-oriented.  I'd like them to re-visit my Duran for Vientos/Baty suggestion.

Vientos could be the worst 3b in MLB. Where would he play for BOS? Platoon DH? Is Baty the fulltime 3B?

Much talk about having both Early and Tolle in Worcester but I'm glad it's turned out this way.

Suarez is the real deal. He is a pitcher. Same goes for Sonny Gray. This team needs a Contreras clone to be the DH. We need an upgrade at 3B and a better shortstop. We're not that far away. It sucks to have the two contracts for another year.

Almost everyone thought it best Early and Tolle start in AAA, knowing chances would arise.

I've been consistent over the years about the prospects. It's better to know early than later. Great players will persevere.

The increased focus may be paying off quicker than we imagined.

Samaniego is another rookie pitcher doing well. (1.10 ERA and .616 OPS Against)

Bennett did okay (4.35/ .736)

Watson- not so good. 

Rivera, Uberstine & Gamboa have 7 IP, 4 hits, 1 ER, 1 BB, 7 Ks (1.29 ERA)

No, we aren’t far away from being competitive. That’s what stinks about our cheapskate owner and incompetent GM. By adding probably just two more talented players instead of the bums we got we could have been playing in October. No chance of that now.
