Actually, Paredes does really have the perfect Fenway Swing.

And unlike those other three, he was available.  (Yes Schwarber was a free agent, but there was better chance of the Liberty Bell leaving Philadelphia than Kyle.)

I dunno what to do with Yoshida. Absolutely a professional hitter, but a slow singles hitter at the top of the order offends me, haha! It seems to me that we'll need to manufacture runs ... need for speed.

IKF costs $6M and Paredes $9M. It wasn't Henry stopping this deal.

This was a cheap trade, and if it was Duran for IP, it's about no cost.

No Duran and IKP would be cheaper than IP.
