Out of sight, out of mind.

If he starts raking with WOO, maybe give him a shot in 2026, but I'm hoping Casas wins the 2016 DH job. (Lowe/Romy at 1B or Alonso.)

I believe everything that happened earlier this season to Masa was just too much for him to overcome. I still believe he's a good major league hitter and perhaps a GM from another team will also believe that.

What has KCR done to impress you?

its the first team outside of the playoff chase......

Yes, I know, but what scares you about them?

To me, they seem lucky to be as close as they are.

Run differential:

+105 BOS

-2 KCR counting down 4-0, now.

Chapman has now gone the equivalent of almost 5 complete games without giving up a hit.

Along with 27 saves he has 4 wins, 4 holds and a number of games he kept tied that the Sox won.

they don't scared me.....Not sure what your problem is with me pointing out consistently who is just outside of wild card teams.....it was Texas for quite some time.

Absurd. I love having an absolutely no-drama closer.

My guess is, as a FA, he'd get an offer of $8M/2 or $10M/3- tops.

We owe him $36M/2, so maybe we can dump him and pay $28M/2 of the $36M, and get nothing in return.

Saving $3-4M AAV might help us add a RP'er or stay under one of the tax lines.

It took Duran 14 seconds to circle the bases. It would take me 14 seconds to go from home to 1st base.

Takes me that long to get to the fridge.

Wow! In terms of consecutive...

He let up a hit on July 23rd.

He's pitched 13 innings since then.

on the season, the opps are 21 for 179- a .173 BA!

14 BB and 76 Ks in 64 IP.

The OPS Against was .365 before today's 0 BB and 0 Hits in 3 PAs.

This is legendary.

It's better than Uehara & Papelbon's best seasons.

It appears Giolito will eclipse the 140 innings pitched marker. His option becomes $19M for 2026.

It remains to be seen he'll turn FA thinking he can get a multi year deal.

His fate maybe in the arm of Tolle.

I always liked Uehara.  He only had the slow fastball and the nasty splitter, but he knew how to pitch and was great in the 2013 postseason.

Brain fart again. It should have read 43 batters without a hit. Big difference.

I did no think it was possible to outdo Koji's 2013 season.

43 innings was my mistake. It should be 43 batters. You have the correct numbers.

He's been stunning.

A 100% high leverage no-hitter, plus.
