Says who?  I have decreed Hamilton is better and am known as great expert on baseball.

Says the Red Sox, who just promoted Sogard today to start at second base over Hammy.

And whose combined moustaches equal Rollie Fingers's.

Not even close.  Maybe Dick Tidrow’s…

Sogard's a better infielder than Hamilton, and Ceddanne's a better centerfielder than second baseman.

The Sox D tonight is as tight as they could make it, behind the rookie and any weak contact he causes.

I like DHam's D at 2B.

Obviously Cora was forced to start Sogard by Breslow…

Guys that are 6-6 and throw as hard as these two do also have the benefit of perceived velocity where they release the ball closer to home plate which in turn makes the fastball seem even faster.   The pitcher who benefited from this the most was one Greg Maddux.  He wasn’t 6-6 but he had a stride length 120% of his height which made his fastball seem much faster than it was

The Sox offense has a real good excuse tonight.

It would be nice to beat up on a good pitcher. I would love to know their record against very good quality pitchers this year.

Fine with me.  He just grounded out but not a GIDP.

Horrible miss by the ump on that Skenes fastball.  Rafaela still K'd.

Tolles need 30 pitches for the first two inning and Skenes 29.

Can't think of many rookies who could walk a guy, give up a double, and then get the next three out.

I believe J R Richard had the longest stride towards HP. He was awesome.

Could have been one of the greatest.  His presence on the mound was second to none
