Maybe the real Houdini is Cora.  He pulled Buehler just in time and brought in exactly the right guy.  He also started Criswell last night.  

It does help that the Astros hitting this year is crap.

Did Criswell have a round trip ticket?  Maybe he can come back and replace our 21M "post-season" miracle worker Buehler.  Another great sign by management!

FWIW, this Sox pitching staff is the best since 2018 and has the same ERA as 2018 and is ranked the same, 8th in MLB.

You nailed him.  $21M was/is insane.  Giolito was a big mistake too, but at least he's pretty decent this year.
