Bello out  4.2 innings to avoid Yelich.  Bernie will will walk him.

Cora  hold Bello for a second to explain the analytics.   Bello says to his glove, Pendejo !

He’s that desperate and panic.

Pulling Bello is the act of a panicked manager .

Exactly!

I don’t understand Cora’s handling of Bello at all.  I don’t think Bello does either.

Compadre!!!!! It’s been a while!!!! Glad to see you’re around although this team doesn’t help to the cause lol.

Why is Cora pulling Bello out? lol I mean it’s not like I’m confident about Bello but he is having a decent game thus far… he’s literally raping this BP man.

I think they were worried about Yelich coming up with his splits vs RHP.

Bello has not pitched 5 IP in the past 5 GS.

There was an open base.

I'm explaining why, not necessarily agreeing with them. 🫠

At some point, pitchers need to learn how to pitch longer than 77 pitches and how to get out of jams IMO.

So now Dobbins is the long man out of BP ( 2-3 innings) .  But when he cannot throw a single strike to the leadoff hitter and then a DP chance is missed at second base, what do you expect.

If he's the long guy, close your eyes when he comes into the game. He hasn't learned how to pitch out of the pen yet.

I’m fine and yeah I’m still betting mostly in baseball. IMO this team has not been well run and managed especially in recent years. There’s an interesting core of youngsters but again it’s bad managed and mostly trained.

Rafaela certainly has an accurate gun.

He needs to do more with the bat.  They should option him and get Anthony here for some punch.

The sox bullpen leads the AL in innings pitched (211) and has only converted 12 of 24 save opportunities.

The bullpen will be burned out by middle of June.

Wonder whether Cora is aware of that.

Aside this base running can we fairly assume that this team has been terribly  trained, coached and managed in the last 3 years and not only the major team but in minors as well?

Our baseball fundamentals are brutally terrible man, terrible!! and yeah some of them are still very young but wtf man!!! There’s no surprise we lead the league in errors. You won’t go anywhere playing poor baseball. Nowhere!!

Not sure why JH hasn’t addressed it. Oh he resigned Cora. Wtf.

I think more teams play bad fundamentals than teams that play well fundamentally.  The Yankees are worse than the Red Sox.  In the words of John Sterling in last year’s World Series, the Yankees run the bases like drunks.

Liam Hendriks: 0 blown saves. Must be having a good season!

Whitlock leads the team in blown saves, but it was probably unfair to put him in high leverage situations after missing so much time due to injury. I'd give him a pass. In two of Wison's blown saves, the Sox came back to win and the other was 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB in a 4 run loss. I'd give him a pass too.
