The incredible climb back to the .500 level continues on the broad back of Casas, the stat builder when it doesn't matter.

Let's check game 2 and see if the holy grail of .500 can be reattained.  Since the Sox high water mark of 11 over was achieved, one could deduce a negative win rate of about 12 games in less than 1/2 a season.

Casas added over 60 points to his OPS in one game. He's over .800, now.

I can't help but feel like we will lose game 2 by  1-0 or 2-1 score.

It's easier with the relatively small sample size of a season mostly spent on IL, doing game interviews.

last 7 starts  by Crawford: 6 with 3 or less ERs allowed, but never less than 2.

(6 HRs, but none today.)

A few more stats for the Crawdad: no MLB pitcher has lost more games this season... but neither has anyone started more games.

His WHIP is just out of the Top 10 BEST, while his ERA+ is better than the big league average.

Even as gopher ball king, Cutter Crawford is a viable member of a five-man starting rotation.
