He’s been hurt most of if not all year. Pro athletes play hurt all the time.   They have to be able to tell the difference between hurt and injured.; you can’t play injured.

Because I firmly believe the SOX and Twinkies are equally matched, I see the two teams splitting the upcoming 3 game series.

Checked out fully  .  Can't wait for the happy horsecrap in the Spring on how the kids are getting better and we got Sale back

I just hope the BRUINS can score more than the SOX. If not, it's gonna be a long season.

Kevin Cash in the post game interview was really impressed on how well his pitching did in this series against that, now get this, 'dangerous' SOX line-up. He even mentioned Devers by name.

Not buying "checked out" because that implies volition.  I think the Sox hitters are more than willing to hit the ball.  Their problem is lousy preparation.  Two best examples are Abreu and Rafaela, neither of whom has made any correction to his approach at the plate.  Same goes for Devers, who probably is playing hurt (shoulders)--no adjustments to his approach at the plate.   In any case, the Sox rank 3d in MLB in most K's by a team.
