Tanner Houck vs Tobias Meyers

Houck is somehow only 4-5 despite a 1.94 ERA.

Red Sox are 7-0 on Sundays this year, let’s make it 8-0.

Very favorable pitching matchup today. Houck, at least at this point, is the Sox best starter. We don't hear any more complaining that he can't go three times through the batting order. Should be able to put this one in the win column.

O'Neill finally owns up to a sore knee as affecting his hitting. Should have said so before the last 10 K's

Looking for Tanner Houck to come in and be the STOPPER . The one who puts an end to losing streaks, even if only 2 games long. Get today's game and goon to Baltimore to pound those rag arms.

O'Neill should decide whether he wants to be a body builder or a baseball player.

Bulky players always seem more prone to injury- like hammy pulls, knee and back issues.

It does seem like easing off the body-building would improve on his chances at staying healthy.

He might lose some power, but the trade-off seems worthwhile.

His father was also a body builder, so I'm guessing his father preached muscle building into his head since he was old enough to walk.

Fathers have been known to pass their fanaticism onto their kids.

Body builders apparently believe that baseball is not actually a game of skills. Nor, I hasten to add, a game of endurance.

Sox defense looking ok to good, but then there is the small matter of hitting and pitching--in which the Brewers have dominated the Sox more than any other team this season. Crawford and Pivetta were both clobbered while the Sox lineup remained supine.

Notable--to me, anyway--that Houck today is faring better with McGuire behind the plate than Crawford and Pivetta did with Wong.

Grissom, Hamilton and Rafaela due up. That is some murderers row. LOL!;)

Ahem. Hamilton's OPS is .750. Rafaela still leads the Sox in rbi's.

Actually, they did give him 5 runs in his previous start.

I mean he also allowed 1 earned run his last two starts and went 1-1.

I’m pretty well aware of other teams players and whatnot because I’m in a dynasty baseball league that’s really active, but it’s kind of funny that someone like my dad had no idea William Contreras was this good, mainly because he doesn’t tune into many Brewers games as we don’t see them often in AL East. He saw his stats and was kind of like “who the hell is this dude”

What's more remarkable about his quickness to 1st base is he's batting from the right side.

He’s a freak athlete. I hope he puts it together at the plate because he’s already a plus defender and base runner
