Should he waste a good reliever here? The Sox have less punch than the headless Rock Em Sock Em Robot…

Truthfully no, because you can see the hitters are fully disengaged. If it was 1 or 2 runs down, try to hold the difference . Llovera got his out though

Refsnyder is 6 for 30 in last 15 games. When is the last time he PH'ed for Duran and got a hit off the LH'er? Been awhile, I surmise

But the blue one, to match the missing helmet -- City Disconnect

On second thought, keep yer head. With only two frames left, no need to stick our necks out to watch 89 more Sox' pop-ups...

Reminiscent of the KC Royals 9-3 beatdown from mid week. So twice in a week , similar games with several oppo HR's

So Yankees lose, BJ's lose but Boston finds it hard to get up for Tigers. Really hard to figure this team out. They cannot win them all , but they do not show any likelihood of a run like the Mariners are showing.

Duvall and Story, take note. Turner just did what you two do way too infrequently. He is more valuable to the Sox this season than the two of you combined.

Tris' Speaker blew a fuse

Williams ate a Baby Ruth before giving a TED talk . Yaz snoozed while Papi Cruzed.

Since some pitcher has to go to get Whitlock back, you are probably viewing the last throws of Bearclaw's Red Sox career

I think they lost the feed on MLB.com. Nothing but a green screen

I got that too. Mercifully.

Verdugo hits. GIDP to end the game. Just can’t afford to lose games to bad teams.

This was a very hurtful loss.

I'm also worried about Bello, He's carried us for so long, but had a .534 EAR/6.01 FIP in his 5 starts before today.

The bats have been slumped for way too long, as well.

I think the Sox don't know squat about teaching/coaching/improving pitching. That's why they have always relied heavily on acquiring pitchers developed by other teams. And let's not forget that this year Eovaldi, Wacha, and ERod are all pitching way better than they ever did for the Sox.

And now, because of the very recent example of how Kike suddenly began hitting again after going to the Dodgers, I'm beginning to think the Sox don't know much about hitting either. The greatest Sox hitter ever, Ted Williams, learned absolute zippo about hitting from the Sox coaches/managers.

i couldn't agree more.

yeah, whether they are good enough or not, they sure seem to be lacking drive and motivation.
