N. Cortes vs B. Bello

 

Worth watching just to see if Bello continues to pitch well. To me he looks like the real deal and exhibits much confidence on the mound.

Cortes has probably been the Yankems' best starter this season, so runs will be at a premium.

But, again, the only real importance of this game, IMHO, is to see, hopefully, the continued improvement of Mr Bello.

Watching the Angels/Guardians game and got to thinking about the value of Ohtani. He's two players in one. As a pitcher he's probably at least a 25mil/yr guy. As a hitter he's probably at least a 25mil/yr guy. I'm sure his agent has this same thought. My question then is will he get 50/mil/yr from any organization?

If not, what do you think his annual salary should be?

Big difference between confidence and experience. Kid is heading into an offseason regardless. He is gonna see Cortes next year. Might want to give him a shot

This isn't little league. Kid needs to see the arm angles and the movement from Cortes. He might K 3 times against him, but who cares. He can use that experience to take him yard next year. This year is a wash
