Well they can’t all go SS now. Maybe more so this year, but we didn’t get the big lumbering 1B/DH Kavadas type pick this year. Their first three picks were all solid up the middle guys highly ranked

Exactly kind of have to, not everyone can play ss. Most guys in MLB played SS/C/CF in highschool, many of the pitchers too and vis versa

Some say more shifts led to more guys swinging for the fences and that led to more strikeouts.

 

I think that is true as far as it goes but the swinging for the fences was happening regardless.

Exactly, and I have no issue drafting 10 highly regarded SSs every 3-5 years.
