Here's a follow up on developing hitters internally: Bogaerts (2013 era); Devers ..........................................................................................................................................................................................................etc.

You could include ex-SOX Betts.

So it's fair to say that Pivetta is on the hook for the loss right now, but Darwinzon kept him there. Here's hoping one of our hitters bails both of them out and the bullpen remnants can save it

Cora needs to have Big Papi talk to Devers about how he is both hurting the team with his approach at bat, and probably be the next guy with back problems. Once Ortiz learned to let the high FB go, he became the big time hitter we knew.

Can't get a generous call, do get a dribbler base hit. Ryan Brasier, you need to pull this DP out of your hat

Braiser, another bum.

This team needs to clean out the pitching staff.

With Tanner Houck going on the IL with back trouble , joining Josh Taylor , it might be time for the Red Sox to look at the bullpen bench and see if a more ergonomically correct bench could help these guys backs. Maybe add a "back and bike" coach to the staff to work with these fellows . Or could it be their fairly violent throwing motions taking them down the same road to Cleveland Circle that rose up and bit Chris Sale ?

Speaking of Sale , at least we know his non-vaxx status won't come into play in Toronto to end this season . In fact, coming into play is a foreign concept in Sale's world.

Geez JD looks flat terrible....I mean terrible

Oh come on. Can we please DFA Hernandez....just for the satisfaction.

Both Bloom, and Cora should be fired for using DHern in a Major League uniform in a Major League Game.

Why is it that our pitchers regress? I mean OK....we really do not have a reputation for developing pitching. There is John Lester, Papelbon, Lester, Lester, Buckholz, Lester. We develop hitters and buy pitchers. We always have.

In fact now that I think about it, this might be another problem for Bloom. If he cannot reach down into the organization and have personnel there that can develop ML pitching, it hardly matters which pitching prospects he brings in now does it.

Tommy Pham was not developed internally. Look what happens when you get RH power hitter in Fenway. That was nice

Surprise surprise Brasier and his 5 ERA can’t get the job done.

This is an epically useless bullpen

And now Davis lol

Back to back to back bums lol

Just wow!

Wonder how do we expect to win like this? Please enlighten me.

Henry no longer cares about winning. He only cares about making more money to pad his $3.5b bank account.

How does anyone expect him to live on such a tiny amount?

I can't help you with that one. You're on your own.

Seriously don’t we have better than this down in the farm? Not even projects? Really?

I have had the opportunity to be in Fenway Park several times. The experience IMO goes beyond baseball these days. Most people don’t even watch the game. The food is crap and very expensive. The booze is way expensive. The souvenirs are ridiculous expensive. IMO people will keep going to the park if the “experience” (singing Sweet Caroline” and so) keeps like this while filling JH’s pockets.

Now Ort.

Wonder what Bloom was thinking when he brought/kept all these guys.

This BP should be one of the worst in years.

During the 70's the Pirates had a catcher named Ed Ott. That would be some battery Ort/Ott.
