Pivetta vs Plesac

Duran CF,

Refsnyder DH,

Verdugo LF,

Bogaerts SS,

Vázquez C,

Cordero 1B,

Dalbec 3B,

Bradley RF,

Sánchez 2B

NGL, if you gave me this lineup at the end of 2020, it may have sounded intriguing.

As bad as this line-up looks, I’m feeling the win vibe for the first time in weeks.

Just a feeling. Absolutely no logic involved.

And don't think for a second is that my sudden absence over the last month or so is due to the stark turnaround in the performance of the Red Sox

I don't think that at all. You and moonslav put the rest of us to shame with all our whining, moaning, and groaning.

Hope all is well with you.

Yep, no complaints on my end. Just busy studying for my final CPA exam, while also working full time. I also went to Minnesota for work, so the last few weeks have been hectic. Sure, it sucks not having a playoff team to go cheer on in person in a few weeks after my exam, but life isn't about winning. A Boston sports fan my age has been very spoiled.

I was wondering where you have been.

I hope everything is ok.

There's line-ups and there's line-ups. In regards to this line-up "I recognize #7 as the man running away from the crime scene."

Is your whiskey glass half-full or half-empty?

The way the sox have been playing I would think most in here are drinking straight from the bottle.

The Sox are serious. They are in their yellow uniforms.

Is JDM screwing with the Bloom, trying to stay down in the back until after the deadline? He seems to be showing off his inability to get in the box, since he doesn't play the field really.

I like the classic uniforms, the yellow and blue is terrible. Glad the Yanks stick with tradition.

200 million plus doesn't get you a very good lineup.

Almost 25% of the payroll is Price's tailend, and Sale's non-contributions in '22, then there the $ 11 million to JBJr, and a sore back $20MM DH with 38 rbi's on the season

Not at today's prices.

Speaking of prices, I just read that one of the NHL's best players signed an 8 year deal worth 76 mil. NHL players must be much better at budgeting their money than MLB players.

Here we go with the Bogey excuses again.

Now there is a guy, if JDM could swing a bat, looks like a man who does need a day off.

I think he is hurt. Not bad enough to sit, but enough that his swing is off. He just doesn’t look right up there.

Saw that shot of Tito wearing the dark blue cap with red letter, and the matching jersey in the dugout and was transported back to the WS years, and some not quite so great.

Pivetta has no curve tonight; it’s going to get hammered eventually.

He just got the curve back ( hopefully) on that Ramirez K, but he's giving up hits, balls up in the zone. I agree, he could tagged with a 3 run 5 hit inning at any time

If JBJr used that stroke 70% of the time , instead of the pulled rollover, he could have been somebody. Easier said than done
