Why the hell is Cole giving Devers something to hit? Thank you, dumb ass.

It was below the zone. I mean, still hittable by Devers, but not a strike.

There was a guy I faced in high school. We were the same year. We both were all state senior year. He dominated everyone but me. For some reason, I wore this guy out like no other. Something about release point. Didn’t matter what he threw, I just wore him out.

Devers is in that zone with Cole. There’s no point in throwing his strikes. Just walk him

Wow. You must be awesome. We are all so impressed by high school stuff.

Stuck with the MLBN broadcast tonight (Costas and co.). MLB TV has decided that a Boston- New York game is subject to blackout restrictions here in western Illinois (even though I even am connecting via a VPN through Denver). So no NESN for me tonight.

This will let you pick either the home or away feed.

Sell,Sell,Sell. I remembered when this franchise had a backbone. When they had players that hated losing. Christ this team has no backbone and no fight.

Once Josh stopped pulling himself off to the left his command suddenly returned and he could throw a strike. It was exactly the same mechanical defect that doomed Matt Barnes: overthrow , lead off to the left side of the mound and leave your arm dragging through the zone, pitches will be high.

If I can see it from California, why can't Cora or Bush see it and come out to explain his future to him ?

Cora must be waiting until Sox are 7 behind before pulling Winckowski.

They don’t have a SP the next two games. It’s “TBD”. They need innings out of Wink.

You could opine that they haven't had a starting pitcher in tonight's or last night's game either. They did have guys learning the craft at the top level against good disciplined hitting teams.

'Opine' very impressive.

Cordero makes a fundamental mistake at 1B every game

He just dropped the warm up ball for the next inning

Winck needs to control his emotions and remember to forget. Once those two bombs were hit, he lost his composure and his command. He’s lucky he didn’t get shellacked further

When his stride took him towards the plate, he threw good pitches, even if Hicks hit one. When he tries to overpower it and leaves his arm flying out the right side , he can't control it.
