I meant Betts didn't like playing in Boston hence we had to shot to retain him unless they threw over 400M at him. Judge likes to play for NY so they will work out a deal

 

I always thought Betts didn’t like playing in Boston until I heard him do a podcast with Rob Bradford, and now I just think he wanted to be paid, and the Red Sox were not going to that high.

So the dumbass went to LA where he pays higher taxes. In fact, for people of Mookie's income level, the effective federal, state, local income tax levels are about 59% of AGI. Then you have sales taxes, gas taxes etc. among the highest in the USA.
