So, that means certain defeat?

Nope if he can keep us in the game it’s fine. Our offense blows tonight. I get it’s ohtani but he has been hittable this year.

For all the greatness of winning these first three, keep in mind the Sox have only scored 8 runs total in 3 1/3 gamed. Only the Angels are worse. The offense is asleep again

Yup needs to wake up. We need to keep rolling on this west coast trip.

These two announcers in the Angels' booth are so bad they're vomit inducing. I was thinking what's the worst I could wish on these two clowns? The answer was easy; just have them continually announcing Angels games. That would be punishment enough. Edited by SPLENDIDSPLINTER

Btw, those two announcers would probably give up a month's pay to shower with Ohtani.

As far as this game's concerned, it's really not a normal baseball move to have the team's worst hitter leading off. Also not a normal baseball move to have 2 of the team's better players resting in the same game. Edited by SPLENDIDSPLINTER

They for whatever reason have an unhealthy obsession with that Velazquez guy too

Velasquez ? Of all the nothing hitters. Angels might outscore the Sox for the 4game series and still lose 3 of 4. Shame on Sox hitters for not busting this open

Angels announcers definitely are gonna suck off Ohtani after the game

You think they can wait that long? I can't help but wonder if the translator will be there.

Crappy loss.

Sawamura should never pitch in a situation like that again. If we DFA him, I would not care.

The offense is sputtering, and it didn't help sitting Bogey & Story on the same night.

Time to beat up on the M's.

One game at a time.

The fact they had that many stats about just Ohtani during the telecast was insane. Like holy s***

What's the main similarity between Ohtani and the bearded lady at the circus, other than they're both unique individuals?

Ans: Neither will ever wear a World Series ring.

Ohtani is a free agent after next season. That might factor into his jewelry options…

I think Story Land Sat because he K’d 4 times the last time against the pitcher.

Bogey rested because they are easing him back from injury. Story was out because of the noted 4 k game last time out vs Ohtani.

I'm a Cora supporter and I think he has good reasons for what he does, but unfortunately it seems like whenever he does the double sit-out, the rest of the guys do squat and make it look questionable.

The last two lineups were head scratchers. It was like when I'm playing a board game with one of my kids and going out of my way not to win.

Maybe Cora thinks we can win more games by not spreading out the "restings."

He minimizes the "sacrifice games."

(I'm not defending the choice- just trying to make sense of it.)

I'm predicting he gets re-signed by the Angels. He's a big draw. Plus, it's great to play baseball and make millions in a pressure-free environment.
