Verdugo has a .764 OPS with the Sox (2020-2022) He's got 2.6 yrs of control remaining.

 

I feel like verdugo and hernandez are heading back toward their career norms.

 

Even Bradley is contributing with defense and hitting better than I expected.

 

As story keeps hitting, our offense will get more deadly.

These are not long odds I suggested. There is a good chance Story ends up near .850 and Kike & Dugo end up near .750, but even if just 1 out of these three happen, guys like Vaz, Cordero, Dalbec or others could easily make up for 1 or 2 shortcomings.

 

We're already seeing a big turn-around with many of our early struggling players. Maybe you aunt's balls are blocking your view, but out bats have been waking up for quite some time, now.

I think of the 2004 ALCS as the greatest comeback in baseball history. Brown may have gotten the apple a bit in Game 7 , but I think saying the Yanks choked detracts from the Sox accomplishment. I stay away from that.
