The guy hit the ball hard. Jeez.

But needed a flyball not on top of the pitch. Bogey missing the FB in the upper part of zone would have been ok as a flyball too.

f*** you Devers!

Devers ripped that ball and the Nats 2B made a really good play.

Let’s not pretend it was a soft room service grounder to second.

Nothing happening in Washington. Need to go to a wedding (not my own), so fellows, you are in charge of scoring some runs and offering sage advice. Get it done !

A snake bite start to this one.

Not good.

Yep. Schwarber pulls his 3 feet snd it’s out. Even if he doesn’t do that, Devers pulls his about 2 feet and it’s an RBI single.

Knowing that the Yankems are getting clobbered has really fired up the SOX offense so far.

Lol. We got some s*** luck right now.

If the Nats' pitcher throws fewer fastballs and more slower junk, he will make it very hard for the SOX batters.

The junkballer always give us us trouble for sure. Smh

Wow. This pitcher is a bum and we can’t score lol!

Let’s see what happens the second time through; they SHOULD have a better idea of what his pitches actually do.

Note, I said should. With these guys …

Sending Houck to the pen next year would be a mistake. If he needs to add a couple of pitches, help him to develop them. He has the nerve to be a SP, and a very good one.

This offense has been anemic recently. It’s beyond the pitcher. We have faced plenty of bums recently and we just can’t hit.

I think that it’s a combination of some tough luck too. Plenty of hard hit baseballs last night but in the wrong places.

Hence the use of the ellipsis

When discussing the SOX below average defense, Kike is excluded from the conversation.

Sox players with positive DWAR's include Kike, Vazquez, Arroyo, and Bogaerts. Plus Iglesias has been pretty good at 2b, Renfroe has made some great outfield assists, and Dalbec recently has been decent at 1b.
