Can we get a big hit when we need it, or are we going to keep playing this snake-bitten s*** role forever?

No big hit, but Boone did his best for Iggy, Dugo, and even Vazquez. Sox tie it on a hard single, an accidental drag bunt that worked, the ever popular wild pitch, and a sac fly.

Oh, and the Sox bullpen ain't looking too shabby. It would be nice to see Richards in the 8th.

Cora is definitely outmanaging Boone.

Fast ball right down the middle and Schwarber pops out--except it was dropped. A second fast ball down the middle, another foul pop out of play.

Boys, the Lord has smiled on the Red Sox! Two dropped pop ups with the season on the line!! There are no wind conditions!!!

Two completely unforgivable Yankee errors, right after they show--for the umpteenth time in this televised series--Schwarber missing that popup in the infield.

This broadcast is so pro-Yankee it's sickening. This does not mean I don't think the Yankees are the better team. But it does mean they will take cheap shots at the Sox but never, ever at the Yankees.

The Yankees are doing everything they can to give them this game.

Same thing we did yesterday, so again, I ask, why do the Yanks "deserve" to be in the playoffs?

Why are the "better than we are?"

We've played a tougher schedule than them, as of now, and we are tied.

I'd expect Yankee fans to be saying all I've read, here, but I've never seen so many Sox fans diss their own team, when they have played so well all year.

So now Richards decides it's his turn to give the game away. A leadoff walk to the 9th guy in the Yankees lineup.

Make me wonder, if he'd have done any better, had we brought him in, yesterday.

Great catch and tag by Bogey! Plus that guy got a big jump on Richards, but Vazquez still got the ball there in the nick of time.

If he slides at second he’s safe. Another gimme.
