This is a game thread. We all know Schwarber has been a big boost to the lineup, but in this series, not just this game, he has hurt his team.

They just showed the singing of God Bless America on the White Sox broadcast.

 

Did anyone else see what the NFL did for the 1pm ET games? They simulcast a brief video at all the stadiums about the impact of 9/11 narrated by a former FDNY firefighter, showed a picture of a man killed that day holding his 6 year old daughter and then showed her singing the National Anthem from the 9/11 Memorial in New York. Even some of the players were cutting onions.

Yes and lose due to bad defense. They’ve had 1 hard hit ball all day, Shaw’s single. Both of Iglesias’ hits were about as softly hit as you can get.

I normally don’t criticize the manager but I really question why Bogaerts wasn’t in the lineup today (and did so before the game started).
