JD is 7 for 14 since the ONE and DONE day off, with two 2Bs and a big HR.

He was 14 for 41 before the slump, with 5 2Bs and 2 HRs.

Fun with numbers

JD had a .305 OPS in a nine game stretch not long ago, but when you go back...

JD last 18 games before tonight's 1-1: .838 with 15 RBIs.

This stretch includes the whole 9 game slump!

Bogaerts out of the game; didn’t appear to hurt himself.

Cora waived him in which tells me another Covid list member and I doubt it’s a contact tracing thing.

Hope all these invincible athletes are proud of themselves.

Xander Bogaerts:

-Starts game

-Snacks in the middle of his at-bat

-Delivers RBI single

-Plays bottom of the first

-Leaves game in second inning

Johnny Damon arm

I think Verdugo crossed himself up....looking at 3rd and throwing to second...ended up throwing it nowhere.

You heard it here....Management gave up on the team at the trade deadline and the team has now given up on the season. They will be lucky to beat the A's to the 2nd wild card.

Yep. What was it we were taught at age 9 about knowing what are you going to do with the ball before it’s pitched.
