Danny Santana is throwing a wrench in all our DFA plans.

Yes, Danny Santana has proven himself to be the difference between winning a game 10-0 and winning a game 15-0…

OK, that's bs. I mean it. Kike may think those leadoff homers mean something and that he can keep his job, but I've been reading the other threads and now realize that potential and a new face are what this team badly needs. Bloom and Cora need to agree to bring Duran up ASAP and put this showoff on the bench where he belongs.

While they're at it, I'd like to see Cordero back on the big club. Yes, he's crap in MLB with an OPS this year of .501, but I've been reading he's studying to be a firstbaseman and bats from the left side, which pretty much guarantees that he will kill MLB pitching even though he never has.

It’s not like the Sox still have Jimmie Foxx at 1b…

The 2 million being paid to Andriese would have had better use sending it to Bobby Bonilla.

Had to go on and ruined our damn shutout!

How so. His recent hot stretch of 6 games is still a 536 OPS. All of his hits have been singles.

His OPS leaped from 485 to 580 today LOL

Told you, today we were going to be the best team of baseball.

This winning streak will continue. All engines are oiled and at full capacity and A’s are not the same team we faced early this year.

Two excellent starts by EO with Wong catching. Do I smell personal catcher here?

Doubt it. Wong is here due to injury to the Sox regular 2nd catcher. There are not enough spots for everyday players to carry three catchers with the number of pitchers on the Sox roster.

SOX fans should never be overconfident when the SOX make west coast trips.

We don't know that Wong wouldn't improve other Sox pitchers.

I was being a little less than serious, but EO has definitely looked comfortable with Wong catching him. No matter what Wong's future is as a SOX, he was a nice grab by Bloom.

Wake was one of the classiest ballplayers to ever wear a SOX uniform.

If I had to choose the classiest SOX of all-time, I'd pick the late, great Bobby Doerr. I met Mr Doerr at YAZ's HOF ceremony. One of the nicest and most giving person I've ever met.

Well done, SS.

Even when you win 15-1 there has to be a whipping boy.

Gonzalez ruined the shutout. Game should have been over but he ole'd that grounder that would have ended the game. Run was unearned after that error.

The guy started hitting.

Wake up the echoes!
