Who has 6 outs in their arm(s) today to get the win for Erod?? Who will relax with O and Barnes waiting out there?

Seattle is taxing its bullpen as the Mariners approach an important four-game series at Houston starting Monday. The M's may need to swap relievers from their alternate site.

The Mariners have played only three of their first 22 games against AL West opponents.

We can't let this one get away.

To have any chance, this year, we have to win a bunch of games like this one.

Definitely. Glad E Rod had a good day. Gave us a chance. The bats lately are cooled off. Thank god for that first, we haven’t done anything since.

Man Barnes is packing some heat. 97 back to back wow!!!!

Awesome win guys, split with a pretty solid Seattle team. See you on Tuesday.

I give Barnes credit, an efficient close out and a win. That insures an above .500 finish to April, maybe hold on to first place through this week.

The underdog Seattle Mariners came into Fenway Park with a negative 3 run differential, left with a positive 4 run differential but could manage nothing better than a split.

Looking forward to the three-game series in Seattle come September.

I will take that. Sure, we haven't been playing well recently, but we still have not lost a series since the first series. The season has ebbs and flows, as we all know, so it is crucial to break things down into little chunks. Series splits against the White Sox, Blue Jays, and these sneaky good Mariners are fine by me. Let's go to New York now, get a win Tuesday and try to beat deGrom on Wednesday. We need this day off, and I would much rather go into it off a win than off 3 straight losses

Also, it may not seem like it, but we're leading the league in runs by a pretty decent margin

Ya we definitely are. How easy we forget when we have a slow stretch of games offensively.

Nice game: 5 runs on 5 hits- kinda feel like that loss we had where we let up 7 runs on 3 hits.

Good to see us walking more (7 BBs, today).

ERod is back.

Barnes is Buttah!

5 RBIs- one from each batter slotted 4-8.

And Ottavino is the bread!

Marwin may be the SOX best defensive SS and best defensive 1st baseman. And he's doing it with 2 different type of gloves.

He wasn't known for his D, but that play he made at SS was as good as any Bogey has made in his career.

Yanks lose.

TBR and TOR hanging around .500.

Crazy. I went to look at the pitching stats to see where Cole from the Yankees lands. Man is there ever some hot pitchers off to good starts. Wow

Degrom

Burnes

Duffy

All under 1.00 ERA. Just ridiculous

I guess when all of MLB is hitting .233, it's not all that astounding.

The genius Rob Manfred.

1) Let's deaden the baseball again!

2) We need more offense in the game!

1) We already have a new phrase in my living room; when a batter launches one and voices rise -- and then cameras show an outfielder camping: "Dead ball."

2) Luckily, the Red Sox have some hitters who are trying to change the MLB narrative, going opposite field, beating dreaded shifts... Verdugo the Other Way, Bogaerts that Joint, Chris Vazstrzemski, etc.

Don't forget about JD. Can't think of a good nickname for him using your unique conventions
