This is true. Their careers don’t usually last as long as Pivetta’s.They usually have to sell insurance before they get as many innings as Pivetta.

Yes, 3 out of his 12 seasons saw him at 4.25 or lower. He did have 2 seasons at 4.28 and 4.32, so make it 5.

 

He had 7 seasons at 4.59 or higher and was at 4.87 his last 4 years combined and 5.55 his last two.

Pivetta is another one that needs to experience success....sixth inning was fine but I'd pull him after one base runner.

 

I know Cora is trying to save his pen, but......

 

Let him allow one baserunner, take him out, at most he's charged with one more run....

Seriously though, it's entirely possible that this SOX offense could average 5.5 runs per game for the entire season. With just average pitching they should be able to compete.
