The pitching is going as I had expected it would go— both the non-existent rotation and the pig pen. The fielding has been no surprise either. The lack of hitting had been a surprise, but they will hit— just not enough to overcome the pitching. They got a good jump on my predicted 90 losses, although I did think they would finish ahead of the Orioles.

Ya me too. Josh Taylor looks as bad as it gets. I think Sawamura and Valdez might be good for us though. Hard to say. This offense though just looks flat, biggest surprise for me. Martinez was good yesterday but outside of that we just can’t produce squat....... I’m hoping it’s just a slow start but I’m not so sure anymore.

How are we doing? What did I miss?? Brunch was delicious.

Glad you enjoyed it! You have missed nothing. I shut it off, but looks like we managed to put up 2 runs lmao. Have been out scored 17-4 so far this series. Beyond humiliating

Not exactly what Cora 2.0 envisioned for a start. Or Bloom. Or ownership. Or fans. Someone might need to tell them the season has started.

This team needs a kick in the you know what. They where terrible last year. This is at home as well which makes it more frustrating.

I think we need to give hang’em Chaim credit for finding this Whitlock kid. If the control is good, he’s got decent stuff.

When Rodriguez comes back, we need to keep houck in the rotation and send garret to the bullpen. The man serves up more meatballs than the Olive Garden!

Sawamura as well if he can limit the walks.

3-13-1 in last 17 home series...whoa. Knew it was bad but wow. That’s hard to do.

Takes all kinds of talent to pull that off lmao

Well. This has been sub par so far. Get em tomorrow.

Happy Easter to all who celebrate. Have a great rest of your Sunday to all (even Yankees fans). See ya tomorrow hooligans.

Good news today: Whitlock had control and throws a nice ball. Martinez with a tater!

Bad news today: Garrett looked worse than he did in Florida!

Damn, this Bloomian team is hard to watch; but so were all the off-season moves these past two years.

Oh well. You get what you pay for, I guess.

The Sox have one of the highest payrolls in baseball.

Today is likely the low point of the 2021 Red Sox season.

Better days lie ahead.

For some reason, I feel like there's an "Or not" that wasn't spoken (or typed), but I like this thinking.

Get the low point out of the way early. :)

Really good camera work guys. Show JD pulling up at second while Kike scores. Lol. Way to go JD

At least JD seems to be returning to form.

Ok. Then you don't get what you pay for!

I just find it hard to get involved with a team that (1) sucks, and (2) in order to suck, has gotten rid of all the players I've followed over the past few years.

We'd still suck with all of em back, except Betts, and even he wouldn't be enough.

We sucked in 2019 with just about everyone but Kimbrel & Kelly, and they suck, now.
