Devers lack of range led to Severino’s “single”. The walk ball 4 was low, but was close. E on Enrique. 2 run double. How’s that D Cora?

At least there are no Red Sox fans who think they're going to win rings this year with a crappy D...

You’ll still win. The O’s pen is a smattering of no names. They’ll pull Means and you’ll drop 5 and take it

I was thinking we'll start scoring once the pen comes in.

Wrong. His range earlier in the game made him bobble a ball. This time, he backed off not wanting to make that same mistake.

Exactly. Just get to the pen. 2 runs is manageable. We just need to lock it down now on our end

At least, as of now, the Sox are ahead of the Skanks in the standings.

If it was 4, I'd be worried. 2 isn't much. If they can't score 2 against the O's, they don't deserve a W.

I don't see the Sox coming back. Lineup--one lousy single in six innings--and bullpen (22 pitches, 10 strikes) have "loser" written all over them.

If I’m the O’s, I start the market for Means today. They’re at least 4 years away and Means will be a FA by the time they could be good. Cash in

Me too.

FTFY

That is what you're really feeling, isn't it?

This is like hitting your first tee shot of the day out of bounds, then hitting another one right down the middle. It's nice to see, but the damage has already been done

I don’t think NY would be in on it, but a team like the Astros who are one pitcher away from being a true contender? They’d pay a king’s ransom

9 relief pitchers, and we are warming up the worst one?

YUCK!

Won’t matter if this offense can’t score a single run. Or even get a hit

There will always be a market for ground ball LHPs

Looks like the Orioles showed up to play baseball, even in very cold weather. Except for Eovaldi, the Sox look like they want to be back at Fort Myer. Except for No hitting, fielding, or bullpen. Edited by Maxbialystock
