No seats should ever be sold where you can't see the mound, home plate or 1B.

Did they fix the new Yankee stadium? Wasn't there an entire section where part of the field was obscured? (Hard to see how that could happen with a modern stadium.). I remember years ago, my friends in theatre design would work on scale models, and one of the things they did diligently was check the sight-lines of every seat in the (imagined) place.

I put out a 'Wear your Red Sox Gear' extra credit bulletin this afternoon.

I have a no hat policy, but I may just "CANCEL" that harmful and antiquated policy!?

I'm seriously thinking about extending this to ALL home... ok, and away games for the entire season? Actually, I think I just made my first Executive Order of the school year?

Tough times call for bold actions!

:) GO SOX!

I don't think any of my students have any MLB gear, much less Red Sox gear. I have one student who wears a Red Sox hoodie every day, which I excitedly commented about the first time I saw it, only to be deflated when she told me it was her boyfriend's and that she doesn't watch baseball. LOL

I "broadcasted" my Zoom class from Fenway Park today. Again, I don't think my students were as amused as I was.

If you lived in New England, you would get more excitement. Not everybody would care about baseball, or sports in general, but the ones that did would at least be Boston sports fans, unless you were in CT, where it would be hit or miss between Sox and Yankees.

But, as long as you are amusing yourself, you are doing something right!

Absolutely. Not having any Major League teams in the area doesn't help.

Unfortunately, there are more Yankees fans in the areas than there are Red Sox fans.

Hey! We're a half-game ahead of the Yanks!

I’ll drink to that!!!!

I would’ve drank anyway, but this way I don’t sound so much like an alcoholic

Big deal. The Yankees are a last place team...

Thanks to mother nature, the Orioles didn't lose yesterday so the Yanks are all alone in the cellar!

Hopefully they stay there for a mere 161 more games...

Tek at 10 is a feat.

Houck is pitching tomorrow. They like this kid.

They do, plus they don't have many options LOL

But seriously, hoping for the best from Houck. He looked good his last couple of appearances.

If he pitches well enough to stick in the rotation, it's the best thing for the Sox. I think he's one and done for now after this turn.

Stuck with radio only for the foreseeable future. Could be worse though. I can get more work done than I would watching on TV

Agreed, even if he does well.

Lol, valid point!

I haven’t followed much, is Sale expected at all this year or no?

Since MLB is bought and paid for by Vegas now:

Red Sox -1.5

O/U - 9.5

I'm going Sox and the under. 6-2, good guys.

The fact that MLB.TV won't show opening day festivities is a travesty.

Is it better than having Lou Merloni talking over the entire thing? Maybe, maybe not
