Verdugo has a great bat, but he's just not a prototypical CFer. He doesn't look great out there. Should have left him in RF.

Totally agree; right field is harder to play in Fenway. Most here expected Boston to sign a cheap glove-first centerfielder this winter, as there were many available. The Sox must really like the potential of Duran and/or Cordero...

Should have just got someone cheap on a 1 year deal. Duran or Cordero could have pushed that guy to the waiver wire.

Reportedly Verdugo’s favorite position is CF. But I would prefer him in RF and let Cordero try CF.

 

Of course if Duran can take over the position, that works, too. They didn’t move Duran from 2b to CF so that he could become a corner OF in The Show...
