Age is a pretty good predictor of life experiences. There are of course exceptions. For example, my daughters all have lived through two civil wars, lived in five countries, learned a smattering of Arabic, explored the jungles of South America and are fluent in Spanish, all before they were 18. Their life experiences are not the same as my grandchildren who have never lived anywhere but suburbia and known only prosperity.

So actually, age isn't a good predictor. As plenty of 35 year olds have ot done any of that...

Not so much Sale as the Sox and MLB (aka "the employers"), which I have said.

ElAttrache clearly sides with you on it not being elective (although he also sought out a location that had not banned elective surgeries). Andrews, on the other hand, does not side with you on that matter...

I am batting .500 with the doctors. That is good enough for me. I do feel strongly that this shouldn't reflect negatively on Sale. It was a decision considered and made by his employer in conjunction with the doctors.

Everyone who posted about it is batting .500. We’re all equally smart.

I do not recall your apology for the joke. If you did then I regret my including you in my retort to Bellhorn who is totally without a clue and inappropriate.

I'm inappropriate but you're the one going around calling everyone else clueless. Self-awareness is not one of your strengths.

Now tell the truth you are really from Newfoundland not Nova Scotia aren't you?

You also lack a sense of humor.

I have been accused of many things in my life but not having a sense humor has never been one. But then Canadians do have a peculiar sense of humor. BTW I really enjoyed Corner Gas, and Republic of Doyle too bad they have both finished their runs. You do kind of remind me of Hank. Have you ever been to Regina Sask.?

No, I'm afraid I've never had much interest in visiting our Prairie provinces.

Not true. Re-read post #403...

Just a reminder... one of the drawbacks to online posting is that humor doesn't always carry well here. What one person posts as being funny (or sarcastic) can take on an entirely different bent to the one reading it.

That new 'pseudo-tag line' should probably have had an emoticon attached to it.

im batting .501 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

As a math major, you are wrong. As an accountant, the difference is immaterial and I shouldn't care about it.

Many times, yes.

I bet you are quite the traveler. I bet you have even been to Boston. When you were in Boston did you ever get scrod. Although I am sure you can get scrod in Halifax but probably not as good.

I have my BA in Accounting.

You seem to be incredibly proud of the fact you've travelled, lived elsewhere. And yet in none of your experiences did the local culture rub off on you enough to help you lose the witless boorishness you bring to every conversation.

I'm stuck at a school that gives out a BS in accounting. Now wherever I go people are going to call BS

I hadn't realized that I was addressing you speaking of witless boors who butts in to others conversations.

Why is Hitch speaking of witless boors? I thought he was speaking of you.
