Welcome back, Hopper. Where ya been?

 

Bell. I wanted to just live in the 2018 season as long as I could. Actually, I wish it was like it was that movie Goundhog Season and we kept waking up and it would be the beginning of the 2018 season.

 

Unfortunately.... we have 2019.

 

I've been around. I just needed to take it easier on watching baseball, I think I caught every inning of every game last year and I'm glad I did. But, that kind of puts a hurt on your social status. Heck, my wife was thinking of having a baseball watching intervention for me at the end of last year.

A Sunday night game on ESPN ughhh.

 

Yeah, especially if you're a Sox fan staring at a 4-game sweep, an 8-game losing streak and another night and day of screaming for heads to roll.

Tonight's game thread in a nutshell . ESPN sucks . A- Rod sucks . The female does not belong in the booth . The umpires are incompetent and they suck . They love the Yankees , just like the announcers do . Use your mute button. A- Rod sucks . Cora is a dunce . The Red Sox suck . This game is over . Yankee Stadium is a joke . A- Rod sucks . Put him on mute . Get rid of Bradley . Screw Benintendi. I don't ever want to see Barnes again . He chokes . The umps are cheating us . Football starts soon . I can't wait . A- Rod sucks . Full of optimism until Rodgers' knee gets broken in 5 places by week 3

Valid point. He’s a tough bastard. I still remember two years ago when he came back and played in the Carolina game with his shoulder. That was scary.

The Yankees just announced that everyone is injured and will miss tonight's game . Rather than forfeit, they are recruiting teenagers in the park across the street to suit up and play against the Sox tonight. Vegas now lists the game as an even money toss up .

Happ threw well vs the DBacks, but he’s been our Porcello this year. Price did well vs us in his only start. Our lineup is gonna be pretty weak with Hicks and EE out.

 

Price needs to go longer than 5 innings is the problem. His last stretch of games has not been pretty.
