How can DD watch this bullpen night after night? They are so pathetic.

Who are you going to trade that won’t weaken one or more other positions? Minors are barren. Pretty sure John Henry has said spend no more $$, so his hands are tied on the free agent front.

We got Eovaldi for Beeks, last summer. Although Beeks has done well, nobody had him ranked higher than some scrubs we have on the farm right now.

We are either getting creamed by the Yankmees or struggling to beat teams like the Jays and the KittyCats. I don't know which is more disconcerting. Neither is particularly encouraging.

Well I’m off to bed. I’ll just assume we lose. That way I won’t be disappointed tomorrow.
Good strategy. I did that last night in the 9th.

Wow, I just noticed we are 6-5, and couple of minutes ago it was 6-1.

This is simply unacceptable. Heads have to roll in the BP.

Had to lose it in the lights or a reflection of light off the wet seats.

In this game: Betts mishandles a ball in RF for an error. Bradley misses an easy catch in CF. ERod fails to cover 1B on a grounder to the right side. Their heads are obviously not in the game, as they haven't been for a lot of game this year. And Cora does nothing. He accepts it.

JBJ gave them 3 runs.

He’s saved more than his share of runs and in some cases, games (Baltimore earlier this year comes to mind). Physical errors happen. It’s the mental ones that should never occur.

Guys we all know that the BP is s***. It’s hard to even get frustrated at this point. They haven’t shown any real consistency with their relief pitching. All we can do is watch.. The one thing that I am frustrated about is management. If the SOX are serious about doing any damage THIS YEAR.. then boy, they are waiting a long ass time to make any sort of moves in that direction. Either dive in or stay out of the pool and get ready for 2020.

I still like my idea of an open tryout at Fenway for relievers during the AS break.

Ala Vince Papele? LOL!

Rain delay could be the difference tonight. E-Rod could have went 7 and then the gasoline boys would only have had to go 2 innings instead of 4.

Betts and Bradley were physical errors. They happen. ERod has forgotten to cover first many times over his career. That’s a mental error that should never happen, much less happen repeatedly.

All true but he gave them 3 tonight.

Can someone explain me why Nuñez is playing instead of Hernandez or Holt?

Holt needed a night off I guess. He’s been swinging the bat pretty well for us.
