If the delay went more than an hour they used to call the game. What they do today --wait hours to get the game in to preserve revenue etc. is really very unfair to the fans.

It’s ridiculous. I’ll be in bed way before the game starts again lol.

I can’t even conceive of a better crime/drama than Breaking Bad. Brilliant on all counts. Who can ever forget Tuco.

I agree. BREAKING BAD was brilliant and truly original. It is the gold standard for crime dramas.

At this point this team should focus on the top wildcard spot. Play a game at home.

Do you think that this team has a reasonable chance to win a World Series with the current roster? They should concentrate on 2020 and beyond at this point. I can’t see them winning a post season series much less a World Series this year.

I hated that show. The premise of the entire show was how pussy-whipped Raymond was.

I don't know if that question was posed to everyone, but yes I do. I still think there's enough talent on the team to win but the starting pitching has to come around. I don't think that's out of the question.

We've got both Sale and Price and both of them qualify as "Aces" when they're pitching right.

The last week or so has made me lose faith in this years team. A number of players have to turn things around in dramatic fashion in order to have a legitimate shot. Let’s see where we’re at, at the trade deadline.

My all-time favorite comedy series used to be the 1st eight seasons of ALL IN THE FAMILY. However, that show fell to 2nd place once I started watching CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM.

In fact, the episode on CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM that I found the funniest was called MR SOFTEE. That's the one that features the late, great Bill Buckner.

Another great show. Hilarious.

When you’re still alive for the postseason you have to continue. You just never know. A short series in the alds. You never know.

The reason I think we still have a shot is because the Sox offense and defense are both good enough to get the job done.

I'm concerned about the pitching staff, top to bottom, starters and relievers, but IMO if the team can get into the playoffs a team doesn't need 13 pitchers. Three good starters and two good relievers can carry a team. I don't think it's out of the question that three of our top four can put it together over the second half, and I also don't think it's out of the question that two of our BP can too.

I'm very confident that IF the Sox can get a WC spot they're going to be the WC team that nobody wants to face in the playoffs. One very big thing in their favor is that as I like to say, "There's no substitute for having been there".

10:38 and O'B says "We will have more baseball tonight".

Maybe so, but I won't be here to see the end of it!

As much as I dislike the Yankems, it's better for the SOX at this point that the Rays continue to lose.

The skankees literally own everyone this season. It’s a joke. Are they ever gonna cool down? I am just hoping they somehow cool down in the end. They remind me of us last season.

What time? This is ridiculous.

2014 is the last time a wildcard winner won the World Series. It’s been 4 years.

Yep, adding that 2nd WC team greatly lessened the chances of the WC winning the WS. Maybe I'm unrealistically optimistic but I think our top 2 - assuming they pitch well - give the Sox a better shot than any previous WC team in the past 5 years.

A team slump can happen anytime during the season. Let's all hope that begins to happen to the Yankems in late September.

"No starting time announced yet".

Hell, I may not even be around here for the start of it!!

They look good this year, no doubt. But if they win the ALCS they're going to have their hands full with the Dodgers.

OOps. ALDS changed to ALCS.

I agree. This may be the Dodgers' year. But a healthy Houston won't be a slouch either.

For some reason i still don’t trust the dodgers come the postseason but just maybe they will get it done of these years.
