Can't believe Wade Miley is still relevant. Was this the same pitching matchup as Sunday? I missed that one. Win. Dance. Repeat. x3

Gonna be weird seeing us play Houston again so soon, especially since I have family ties in the Houston area, and because

Of the "controversy" that happened on here last week

Gotta hand it to the Astros here. They're turning into a Warriors-esque sort of team

Everybody in their lineup can beat you and everybody in their rotation can strike you out. Even

Orbit, their mascot, is a pain in the ass. 3 years now, they've established themselves as the kings of the AL, and while we're in the group of 3-4 teams that

Remain on the same level as them, that doesn't make them any less scary to play. They're even more terrifying at home. In order to

Give ourselves a fighting chance, we can't afford to leave men on base, and our bullpen needs to bring their A game.

Everybody must contribute this weekend, because we absolutely need to win this series

We have the pitching to our advantage but we had it the last time and didn’t execute enough. Take 2 out of 3 from this team at least.

Thunder, you're putting a target on your back, buddy.

I know. At least for right now, it's all in good fun

Chris Sale has struck out 10+ batters and allowed 4 or fewer hits in each of his last 4 starts. That is tied for the longest such streak ever by a Red Sox pitcher (Pedro Martinez, 1999) and is 1 start shy of the MLB record (Johan Santana, 5 straight in 2004). (via @EliasSports)

Too late.

Wow. What would I do if I didn't have this place? My life would be way worse. You guys all really mean a lot to me, even if 90% of you hate me at the moment

We don't hate you. We just hate your posts about George Springer.

But of course you remember going 6-1 against floundering Tampa and garbage fire Baltimore. And now 3 more against stuck in the mud KC

If the Marlins keep up that pace, they could win 131 games.

I dunno if you could say Tampa was floundering since they were leading the division when we first played them and then went 4-2 against them. The O's are trash of course, but sweeping a four game series on the road isn't easy considering that on average even the worst teams still win one out of every three games.

Next homestand could bring you guys back down to Earth a little. I don't think it will, but San Diego's no slouch, and Machado loves playing in NYC and Boston.
