Remember the2015 team that caused a front office housecleaning and many fans to scream about the Sox “ace-lacking” rotation?

Well after 13 games, that team was 8-5 and in first place by a full game...

Whats your point? I feel like I am missing something? They are paying 2 guys to be Aces, and 2 guys to be #2's. All of them suck.

13 games in, 1 great performance by the BP with Velasquez as starter, one decent start (no win) by Sale, and 11 other pure crap

That this team might be worse than that team everyone hated.

Devers joins Bradley and Price with an rbi. Maybe this can still be a turnaround win.

pedey gets his 1 in a lot less AB's than the other guys

Just cannot give the opponent a 5 run inning. They may come back and win this. But giving this BJ's team monster shots....are you kidding me!!!

Possibly. This team has likable players though. They just arent playing well. That group was a bunch of unlikable losers.

Its sad that its considered a win, when we give up less than 2 runs an inning from a SP

Well at least they’re back in the game not sure if the pitching can put up zeros.

Oh it can’t. We should know this by now...

Well the K to start this inning is hunky dory Nat. But you are throwing trash to LH hitters in the meat of their order.

EO gets 3 DPs tonight or else the score could be 10-3. No control or command and could be at 100 pitches through 5 innings. The load on the BP has been high, but overall they have dealt well wwith it.

3 DPS......not good enough when you give up 3 HR

In the main we are just getting out-pitched so badly in these games. Opponent pitchers are pitching much tougher to our hitters.

Of course Sisters of the Poor would likely out-pitch us so far this season.

Both pitchers will be over 100 pitches before the fifth is over...

Never a clean inning. Here comes murderer's row with Smoak up and Galvis on

Would like to see the play by Moreland again. That looked like it was headed to RF without the play by Mitch.

Yet another DP because we have a great fielding 1Bman and a $6.25 million back up for him. Don't worry, I'm sure Pearce will be needed at some point.

Time for Betts to step up and tie this game or at least move the line.

Result a swinging K. I do wonder if the Sox analytic staff , Cora and the hitting coaches have determined why Betts has not been able to hit much back to the playoffs

One issue would appear to be that he has not been aggressive enough. Letting good pitches go early in counts and then stuck swinging at pitchers pitches.

StatCast apparently had Tellez’ home run at 505 feet? No way. Maybe 405... Edited by notin

Lots of Porcellos being surrendered by our starting pitching so far this season.

I bel;ieve only the Orio;es have surrended more, but they have won 5 games, not 3.
