Somewhere back in this thread I said something negative and intemperate about Mookie Betts, which I now regret. I am unhappy with a couple of his plays in the outfield and that one baserunning gaffe and with all those K's (which he used to not get), but I still believe in the guy if not his rapacious agent.

Ya everyone has cold stretches and bone headed plays at times unfortunately. This slow start could be impacting him and the rest of the team. He will figure it out.

Moreland has deliver some clutch hits. But we still really suck offensively. That first inning Bogaerts and Devers whiffed with the bases loaded. The two AB together reduces the team winning chances in the game by 15%.

 

We did end up scoring 8 runs.
