You really think we will have to tell them about this game? Have you seen game times coming down in recent years or going up? Do you really think they will be seeing 3 hour games while we are pushing up daisies. If you think that I am encouraged because you must believe MLB is going to do something about the utter mess they have made of their game.
It is a great game, but ruining it is not beyond the stupidity an greed of those who run it.

Sale , Price and Porcello all volunteered to start this game. That says something about the kind of guys we have on this team.

Yeah, you gotta love that.

First...thanks Station for an epic run starting postseason GT’s

Second...thanks to all of you who shared and helped us get through the 8 hour marathon last night into the early morning hours here on the east coast.

Third...thanks jBay for starting this GT.

I love our chances tonight. This team has shown an unbelievable talent to flip the script all year.

WIN.

We were 13-1 in ERod starts at the beginning of the year. We ended up 19-4 in his 23 starts.

He hasn't been the same since the injury, but I'm hopeful he'll find the magic and our bats will come alive.

It is a game to tell our children and grandchildren about, but never watch again.

I doubt there has ever been an 18 inning game with so few highlights, whether offensively or defensively. In fact, the only memorable defensive play, imo, was Nunez falling into the stands after catching the foul ball. Oh yeah, Kinsler getting thrown out at home after his Marx Bros routine on the bases.

The Dodgers are not exactly a bunch of jabronis out there to play the role of chumps. They have a big payroll and some very talented ballplayers. This was never going to be easy.

Neither team has officially announced a Game 4 starter, but early speculation is that it will be Eduardo Rodriguez for the Sox and Rich Hill for the Dodgers.

Just starting this thread now to try and move forward with the next game and stench and memories of that last horrendous game off my mind and to move forward.

This Red Sox team has overcome a lot this year, whether it be injuries, drama, bad losses, etc, they always seem to bounce back. This will be a tough game to win and I'm sure Dodgers will be favored, but that is also what they said about ALCS game 5 with David Price. Sox are still up in this series 2-1, and still have home field advantage in this series.

Lets win this s***.

As bad a loss as that was last night/this morning... it was ONE GAME people.

This Red Sox team still has a 2-1 lead in this series. That was their ONE... let’s take care of business tonight and finish this series in either FIVE or SIX games! No f***ing around this time goddamnit! It took the Dodgers 18 innings to beat us and get their first win of the series.

GO RED SOX!

How much sleep did everyone get? I went to bed at 4am, woke up at 8-ish and went back to bed, at 10 I woke up and went back to sleep again. Woke up at noon and ate some food.

Heart of champions! I love it.

This game scares especially with Rodriguez going. He doesn’t attack as much.

We need offense tonight badly. Gotta win this one.

Hahaha. I fell asleep at 3 and woke up at 9. But I just had about a two hour nap. Now cracking a beer.

Fell asleep at 430 up at 9

Hopefully we get a W before midnight tonight....

The bats have to strike and Rodriguez has to attack these batters. Don’t nibble.

We just need the bats to wake up tonight period. I don’t want to see last night again.

Rich Jill is pitching? s***!

See what I mean?

Nope, he's not the same. We'll have him on the bench before the 4th inning is over!

Oddly enough I had almost exact same thing happen, I couldn't stay asleep all night, that game last night was brutal.
