Eovaldi looks like one of those guys that wants the ball in october. He has been out best postseason pitcher thus far ahead of sale.

Porcello, too.

Exactly, he is the protector of the young warriors and the sky in the night. :)

Can’t pass on Huitzilopochtli, the God of War, who expects human sacrifices. I say let’s give him Bregman LOL!

JBJ, I will never again question your value to the team. Two games in a row you have gotten the key hit to win the game.

Great win by the Sox. As others have said, this masks a weak spot of the team, which is 3rd base defense.

I'm not sure I've ever seen Bregman swing at a ball.

The guy is tough as nails on offense and defense.

It would even the playing field at 3B that's for sure

Wonder how Nunez would have handled that shot.

Big dick rick tomorrow with some arms rested. Let’s go!!!!

How many pitches can Porcello give us after being used in relief already?

I'm hopeful he can keep the counts low in the early innings.

Great win of course. Beyond question the hero has to be Eovaldi who pitched a great, intelligent game. Devers maybe should had that double, but he also got a key single in the 8th to keep things alive.

The most amazing part of this ALCS is that the Sox bullpen has outpitched the Astros bullpen. Less amazing is Cora’s magic touch continues.

To be clear. I was one of the pessimists after game 1. So these two wins, both hard fought, are all the more amazing. In my defense, none of the commentators gave the Sox much chance either.

Tonight hung on not one but two HBP’s unless we expected our bullpen to hold that 1 run lead.

I'm not sure Nunez or Devers would be a significant improvement over an empty spot that used to be a third baseman before he was vaporized by a vengeful Aztec god. The Astros might still have the advantage.

We never were a two-man team. Sure, they led the way, and it's hard to look beyond their eye-opening achievements this year, but this team won a lot of games this year with other players and pitchers leading the way.

Nice to see JBJ be a leader in two games, but it took others to set him up for success.

Joe West was invisible in this game. That reflects what a great job he did.

He was really good today. I'm not a big Joe West fan, but he deserves props for a very well umpired game today. He was very consistent.

After giving this some considerable thought, I've come to the conclusion that either Nunez or Devers would be an improvement over an empty spot. But I could be wrong.

I think we could’ve had an rbi Hit &/or walk in us somewhere from Holt and/or Moreland. Hard to say, they kept getting HBP. Not our fault.

I've never like Holt at 3B, but I'm wondering if it might be time to give him a shot.

We can always PH for Kinsler and move Holt to 2B, if we need offense.

I would go with Devers at 3rd and Holt at 2nd vs the Astros' RH Morton.
